1) COMPANY PROFILE

S.R.M.P. s.r.l. (BULK SOLIDS HANDLING MACHINES DEVELOPMENT AND SPERIMENTATION CENTER ) was founded in 1987 by a group of highly skilled staff coming from leading companies in bulk solids handling components manufacturing.

They put their experience in research and design in order to create the first italian laboratory specialized in bulk solids handling research, machines development and application and still unique.

First approach concerned research on bulk solids mechanical and pneumatic conveying, mixing, dosing, storing and extraction tecniques.

Growth and diffussion of automated control systems led to the foundation of the Automation and Electronic Controls Department, where integration between mechanical systems and electronics, monitoring applications and logics are studied and developed.

Since 1988 S.R.M.P. is registered on the List of Ministry of University Scientific and Technological Research, decree 23/11/1988, published on O.G. N° 283 of 2/12/1988.

Study, Design, Manufacturing and Testing of automated computerized system for packaging film complete production systems (customer:polifims).

Craft Project - Contract BRE2.CT94.1417 - Proposal CR-1391 Title: Paint Manufacturing Process Optimization for the building industry, using original bases and pigments formulation.

SUBTASKS :

Development of new dosing techniques focusing on modules and colorant dispensing - Cork openers pumps development for fluid and components dosing techniques 

Development of new mixing homogeneization techniques for non-newtonian fluids - Project for a mixer suitable for treating materials with high and very high viscosity (customer: corob). 

Filtration and Separation: study, design and  testing of new systems operated by inertial separation provided with self - diagnostics, electronic controls and plant control system interface. 

Dense Phase Pneumatic Conveying System: study and testing of innovative plant lay-out. Development of a modelling system for the analysis of product conveying charatteristics based on the product code. 

Extracting Systems: study, manufactoring, testing of new systems for extraction of difficult products stored in bins and hoppers for degradation, bridging, ratholing preventiong.

Multitasking system for pollution monitoring in water coming from industrial processes and purifiying plants for separation, selection and conveying (customer: S.P.ECO SRL).  

New Automatic Ship Unloading System for powders and granular materials suitable for quay cranes (Customer: WAM Spa). 

New Pre-Mixing and Feeding Module with automatic dust emission control for concreting plants (Customer: WAM SpA). 

Low cost, high performance dense phase pneumatic conveying system for powders and granular materials. Basic plant and optional components design, test plant and monitoring system development. (Customer: Agritec Srl).
